Strawberry-Lemonade Cupcakes with Cream Cheese Frosting


There's just something so angelic and pure about cream cheese frosting. The subtle tartness, the creamy texture, the untainted color. It's as if it just glows, don't you agree? Or maybe it's just the lighting in my apartment, but whatever. Cream cheese frosting simply makes things better.

Pizza Dough


Pizza dough is a weekly go-to in my house. My boyfriend and I just cannot say no to homemade pizzas, pizza bites, or calzones. But really, could you? The dough is cheap and easy to make and it's such a convenience to find a hunk of frozen ball of pizza dough.

Mini Hamburger Buns


I finally did it... I made hamburger buns! They ended up absolutely perfect. The process, however, was a bit hectic and  frustrating to be honest. BUT, I powered through and was rewarded with fresh, hot delicious mini hamburger buns.

Butter Poached Lobster and Tomatoes with Creamy Parmesan Polenta


The phrase "1 stick of butter" will always pique my interest, always. So when I saw this recipe on Steamy Kitchen a month ago, I knew it had to be a winner. Weeks later, lobster tails went on sale for 5 bucks, and I got my chance to make this deliciously rich dish.
